Turn on the player, let it warm up for about five minutes.
Load a DVD that will generate "Wrong Region" error message.
Push play on the remote.
When the error message appears push the "Eject" key on the remote control.
When the tray opens, push 9735 on the remote. This opens the Region Change screen. You can then change the region code.
