Power on the unit and open the DVD door by pressing the "Open" button on the front panel
Use Remote Control to enter the following numbers 3, 3, 0, 8, 8
You will see in the top left of the screen "****" appear
Key in a number corresponding to the Region you desire your player to be set to, i.e. 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on, use 0 for Region free
If 3, 3, 0, 8, 8 fails try 8, 9, 2, 6
If 0 for Region free fails, try 9
