this is vcd hack and cdrw
Enter the service mode using the instructions from the first post and use the Up/Down keys until it displays the these lines:
00 - XX* and change it to 50 (this will enable the CDRWs)
and
13 - XX* and change it to 21 (this will make it read VCDs)
