ensure that there is no disc in the player when you start
1. Turn player on and press "menu" on your remote control
2. Highlight "setup" in that menu
3. type in the corrsponding sequence below depending on where your dvd
player is currently set. ( you can check this on the back of your dvd
player)
RC 1 : 2, 9, 3, 3, 4
RC 2 : 5, 7, 5, 3, 8
RC 3 : 5, 6, 7, 3, 2
RC 4 : 7, 6, 8, 8, 4
RC 5 : 5, 3, 8, 1, 4
RC 6 : 2, 4, 4, 6, 2
3. Th currently selected region will then quickly flash in the top right
hand corner of your screen. Before it disappears quickly press 9 to enable
region free viewing. (Alternatively you could press numbers 1 through to 6
to specify a certain region)
4. It may not work the first time you try but persist and it will work.
