1. Press the setup button on the remote control.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 1, 3, 6, 9.
3. Press left button in the middle three times.
4. Press the right button in the middle once
5. A new column will appear in the bottom of the display, called "version".
6. Move the cursor to choose the version then change the code number by pressing up and down on the remote, with 0 being region-free.
