Turn the dvd player on without a dvd in the drive (Lg logo on blue background is displayed)

Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word COdE appears on the display followed by current region code)

Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)

Power the player off and then back on

Dvd player will now be in the selected region mode.
