Using an Aiwa NSX-S505 remote control hold SHIFT and PROGRAM down. OR Using an Aiwa ZR88 remote control press RANDOM OR Using an Aiwa NSX-D606 remote control press RANDOM OR Using a One-For-All universal remote control, put code 121 in the tuner section and then use the MAGIC KEY 079. Any of these will open the tray on your DVD player and ADJUST will show in the display. At this point insert your disc and close the draw, the player will then play the disc without any problems. NOTE: This only works on certain version of the firmware, you will need to do the following if you have a brand new player; what you need to do is take an Aiwa remote control with a Clock button on it. Press the Clock button once should display the Cold Start prompt. Next press the Clock button twice in quick succession. This should display ADJUST, now just insert your region 1 disc and press play! You can then make the hack permanent by doing the following; Insert a Region 2 film and press play on the remote control. Press Set Up on the remote control. Go to the Parental Lock and change the password to anything you like. Go back to the film and let it play for a short time and then press Eject. Insert and R1 film and press play and let it run for a short time before turning the player off using the power button on the remote control. Turn the player back on and press play with both the remote and the Region 1 disc in the player. Your machine should now be multiregion.
