To hack the Denver DVD-176 simply do the following in the "no disc"-menu:
Make sure your DVD-player is on.
Open the disc tray using the remote control.
Enter the code 7, 7, 3, 9 on the remote. (The numbers will be indicated by X: s on the screen).
Now wait a second or two until the X: s have disappeared on the screen.
Now enter which region the DVD-player should be set to by using the numbers on the remote control. (1 for region 1 and 2 for region 2 etc). I recommend you press 0 because 0 equals region free.

1. Press "opens" on remote control
2. Enter slowly "7" "7" "3" "9"
3. Enter region code or "0" for Codefree
