Open the tray and push "setup" on your remote. Go to option 1 in the menu (Disc Language) then push enter.
Then go to option 1 in the following menu and then press enter again. You saw that there is a code of four digits.
For region 1 it is 0101 and for region 2 the code is 0102. So when you want to swap the region you enter the code for the region you want to watch. Then go back to main menu and insert disc, note that the tray is still open. Now do not close the tray by using the eject button but simply press the power button on the player or the remote. Now the tray will close automaticly and the player will be shut down. Now you will have to wait for 15 seconds and then put the player back on. Now the region is change and you can watch your selected region.
Note that your player does NOT need any hardware modification or software upgrade to do this.
