1 press power button on the remote
2 press setup
3 press numbers 2002
4 press left < arrow
5 press right > arrow
6 press left < arrow
7 press right > arrow

In the setup menu you should now see VERSION go to this and press play

Now

1 press right > arrow
2 press up/down arrow to change the region code
note 0 is region free
3 press play to lock the region
