1. Turn on and open the disc tray
2. Press the setup button
3. Input 0000 and then the 'up' button
4. A new option called version appears, select this and move the selection onto the number
5. Press the down key to change it to 0 for region code
6. Press the setup button
7. Exit the menu
8. Close the disk tray
