Using remote with no disc in player
Turn on power; wait until "no disc" appears on display. Press "stop", "pause"
Enter the #'s 1,4,7,2. The "EEPROM" numbers should be
on the TV screen.
Make note of the fourth pair of numbers. Mine was 45.
Right Arrow over to the fourth number.
Place the cursor under the '5'. Change it to 7 by pressing '7'.
The VRD974 display should now read "04 47".
Press "pause", power off.
