1. Turn on the Akai ADV-1120
2. Open the draw of the DVD player
3. Type in 3, 3, 0, 8
4. After there is 4 X's (If you get a hand, you have done it wrong), Type in the region number (0 is region free).
4. Close the draw
5. Turn of the Player.
