1.)What Are the DVD Player Regions from around the World?
2.)How do i unlock my DVD Player? There are 4 ways:

As you can see from the map there is 6 regions from around the World
| Region 1 | USA and Canada |
| Region 2 | Europe, Middle East, Japan , South Africa |
| Region 3 | South Korea, Tn, Hong Kong , Asia |
| Region 4 | Australia, New Zealand, Latin America |
| Region 5 | Russia, Indian Continent, Africa |
| Region 6 | China |
This usually requires sending your DVD to company that supplies the chip, whilst being a fairly good way of unlocking your player there are a few points you need to remember :
1. It will void any warranty on your player, although some chipping companies provide their own warranty after they have chipped at no extra cost.
2. It is very expensive, you would be lucky to get change from £50.00.
3. The hassle of shipping your dvd player and being without it whilst the work is carried out.
This is a way of reprogramming the dvd , usually supplied by the maker but very hard to get from them. It involves placing a dvd in the player and it will update the player automatically. There are sites on the web, "mainly forums" that will sometimes show a link to a firmware upgrade that someone has placed for free download but there are things you need to take in to consideration
1. You have to make the cd yourself and if done incorrectly can damage your player.
2. You do not know that it is a firmware upgrade at all "IT COULD BE ANYTHING" you are about to put your trust in someone that you have never met, never will meet, cannot get hold of if there is a problem. Would you give your player to a man in the street and let him have a mess to see if he can unlock I DON'T THINK SO.
3. If it is a firmware upgrade it may not be the correct one for your player, many region 1 firmware upgrades if used on a region 2 player will cause problems and even damage the player beyond repair.
Probably the best way you type in a sequence of numbers or push buttons in a certain order and it will bring up hidden menus, from there you can change the region to region free. Again these are sometimes offered in forums etc free of charge but all the points regarding FIRMWARE UPGRADES apply.
1.You are putting your trust in someone who'm you have no recourse with if it all goes horribly wrong.
2. It may not be the correct dvd region code or even player hack, and if done incorrectly can damage your dvd player. If you have been to a forum look at the number of people having trouble with there dvd players after using FREE DVD REGION CODES and see how many people offer advice "USUALLY NONE ! . We specialise in DVD player unlock codes.
